i felt like the end dragged on a bit, but i enjoyed this! i loved kate’s character.
adventurous slow-paced

sarah maclean was a freaking genius with this book. the buildup in the first three books, the bomb dropped at the epilogue of the last one, then the reveal that chase is ANNA?????? be so fr. this woman. her mind. also the WAY ALL HER BOOKS ARE INTERCONNECTED!!!! the sarah maclean multiverse😩😩😩
UGH i appreciate sarah as a writer so much !!!! & i really liked caroline in this!! the epilogue was great, too. but i do wanna know if she had twins
i did want some more out of this book tho,
- i didnt believe that duncan could have realized the secret without help
- i wanted more interactions with the four owners. it seemed like all the scenes with all four of them besides the epilogue were just them arguing
- i wanted more interactions between duncan & caroline (bc, hes gonna be her dad)
- i wanted to see her brother and sister-in-law !!!!!

this was good, but there was too much miscommunication for me to want to reread. i really like sarah macleans writing, though.

cross and pippa are so good together!!! i would have liked another chapter before the epilogue, to see what her family thought about her and cross, but i did love the epilogue very much

i enjoyed this!! the second half of this book was really good, but michael was a real asshole at the beginning. and i wanted more of the “childhood friends” aspect. the epilogue was awesome tho.

this was so fun! i liked the characters, the politics were great, and i’m glad stanhope was happy in the end, but i do wish alec would have apologized more for how he acted toward the end. maclean did a great job at making hawkins completely insufferable!! the female friendships were so so nice, and i think the dynamic between the main couple is so sweet and unique. i 🫶 the sarah maclean cinematic universe

this was sweet but i didnt like briana that much, or the third act conflict. and
the accidental pregnancy pissed me off bc WHY did they not use protection?????? also, when she told him she was pregnant and wanted to break up with him, she still slept with him, and it felt kind of icky to me. like she was using him.
