the relationship itself was cute, but i found the nicknames and most of the dialogue to be cringe. the texts were iconic though

there were so many twists in like the last 200 pages but in the beginning I thought it was a little slow. I'm really excited to see what happens in the next one though! the end made me suuuuper curious and hopeful about what's next.

this was good, although nowhere near as good as the first one. i cant help but compare it to this time tomorrow and past present future, even though the stories are pretty different. i just think that duology did this kind of story better. i did love the romcom epigraphs for each chapter, but i wanted more romcom vibes and references in the actual book. also some of the dialogue felt unrealistic. and liz felt like a different character. wes was still wonderful, though, and i loved the found family, and this was very emotional.
i think it would have been more emotional if they had explicitly talked about the fact that they had both lost parents and talked about their situations in regards to that
this review is also all over the place oops lol

my first erin langston, definitely not my last. i loved the characters, and i even thought the third act conflict was done really well. also i loved belle’s family

a good historical source, though the narrator is lowkey insufferable and the chapters are long, so it can get a bit boring
