honestly probably one of the best overviews of harrison’s life that exists. the end was slightly questionable tho

a genuinely good overview of van buren’s life and presidency 

this was a good rom com! stephanie archer’s pining heroes are iconic. im excited for this series :) idk if i will read rory and hazel, bc i dont love second chance and i didnt love the rory storyline, but i will def read more from her as she releases more. one of the problems i had w this was that i didnt make sense that they went to high school together (like their hometowns were in diff places???). that brought my rating down a lil bit

i didnt really like the reveal, and i wanted more of jamies character development regarding healing from her relationship with her father, and alec got on my nerves for like the last 60%, but i liked everything else about it! it made me laugh a few times, and the writing felt very ahead of its time

it was honestly a really good overview/intro of archaeology but why did he have to put his opinions in at the end😭😭

i only had to read part of this for school, but i really enjoyed it!

i liked the beginning and the very end, but i found the section about his presidency to be lacking. 

this was really sweet :)

#1: 4/5. it took me a while to get into this but by the end i was invested in the characters!!

#2: 3.75/5. this suffered a little bit from second book syndrome. it was just so slow. i still like the characters, and the last 50% was compelling, but it kind of felt like a really long book where not much happened

#3: 4.25/5. at first, i wasn’t jiving w the multiple povs, but i appreciated it by the end. some parts of this felt too slow, but the writing was really good. i am really attached to these characters. they feel like old friends. i wish the end provided a little more closure about their live

well written, but i wanted it to be longer!!!
