i was expecting to enjoy this but i was not expecting it to be INCREDIBLE. it was a fantastic upper-ya. i usually dont like romance sequels but im really excited for this one. 

this was fun! obviously, most of ruby dixon’s books are insta-love, but this one somehow felt too insta love. it was still good though 

this was well done and i ended up liking the characters more than i thought i would, but second chance isnt my favorite trope. the end conflict was definitely compelling, but i wish it was like a chapter or two longer after the conflict got resolved :)

this was actually really fun! I didn't get super into it until like halfway through, but then I was really invested in the characters and the story. The writing was also good. imo, Sarah Adams should definitely revisit historical at some point!! this was like tied for my favorite that I've read from her

this was way better than i expected it to be! you usually dont see good biographies about the less relevant presidents like arthur. its not too short or too long, well written, and objective!! my only problem was that, even though it wasnt as long as some other presidential tomes, there were still parts that, in my opinion, were too detailed. like it went past historical context into unnecessary information. 

i thought i would love this bc it has high reviews and i like elizabeth stephens but it just wasnt for me :( i didnt like the world building and i didnt feel any chemistry between the characters. i also didnt like any of the characters or find them interesting. and i dont like memory loss, but i was initially willing to give this a chance bc of the author. changed my mind tho

these were really fun little alien romances!  ka’cit was my least fav, but i liked them all!!!

i agree with many other reviewers in that the writing nor the worldbuilding was my favorite, and the hero shouted too much, but unfortunately i must rate it like this because i am a diehard fan of an emotionally traumatized girl and giant brooding guy who is so so gentle with her

is jill perfect? no, but this book is wonderful depiction of growth. i know they used a ghostwriter, but i think jill’s voice really shines through, and the writing is beautiful.  also, love that they put the writer’s name on the cover, because you dont see that with a lot of celeb novels (spare, nineteen steps, etc.)
