this was such a fun paranormal with a very compelling plot. i just love ali hazelwood. the characters were lovable, and the spice was good. i was just a bit confused about why lowe acted how he did right before the conflict.

cat sebastian writes two idiots in love like no one else. sydney is such a sweetie, and amelia is so relatable.

this is cat sebastian, so it’s obviously an objectively good book. i just didn’t connect with the characters as much as i could have/wanted to. but it’s a very interesting read.

this had the signature rick riordan charm, but i didnt really like the thing with carter and zia. i did like the mythology, although i think the book could have been a bit shorter.

truly the only word that can describe this book is sweet. it is achingly sweet. it is sugar and spice and everything nice. it is a warm hug and a hot tea at the end of a long day. huge props to sarah hogle for being able to create this atmosphere.

i would have preferred these to be edited for spelling and grammar rather than being the exact same as the original since it kind of took me out of it a little bit

i just don’t really vibe with kimberly lemming’s writing. the romances usually make up for it, but although i liked dante, i couldn’t really connect with cherry, and i didnt enjoy the spice as much as i did in the other two books of this series

THANK YOU x♾️ to the publisher and netgalley for an arc of this!!!

ppp was one of my most anticipated books of 2024. it did NOT disappoint. i was worried, because i am wary of sequels in general, ESPECIALLY unplanned sequels, but i should have known that RLS would never let me down. i’m so glad i already preordered the B&N special edition. RLS has hinted at the conflict, and i was scared of how she would pull it off, but it was done beautifully. the conflict was very understandable, to me at least, and the general vibe of this book reminded me a lot of Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins, which I love. these characters stole my heart in T3, and they kept it during P3. i wanted to give RLS a hug after i finish because she writes about the issues that the characters go through so incredibly. the writing is authentic, evocative, emotional, and beautiful. i was crying for literally 60% of the book. this is one of the best depictions of college i have ever read. the epilogue was outstanding, too. i will not stop thinking about, talking about, or recommending this duology for the rest of my life. these books are the blueprint for romance, YA books, and duologies.

thank you to netgalley and the publisher for an arc of this!!!

the content of this book is great. it really succeeds with its mission to promote diverse voices, and it really strengthens the book. also, the cute and colorful cover will help this book be even more accessible, which helps with making the book more appealing in order to increase the public’s knowledge on eating disorders. my only issue was this book was the writing. in some sections, parentheses were way overused, and not just to reference a source. this made the reading experience kind of jarring for me and made the writing flow less. also, this book used “?!” a few times, and i HATE that in books, especially trad pub books.

tws: fatphobia, eating disorders, references to medical trauma, mentions of suicidal ideation, references to racism, animal cruelty, bullying, panic attacks
