this was super quick and fun! ruby dixon did a great job of demonstrating the characters’ compatibility in such a short length.

i thought this was a pretty good book. i liked the start of their romance, and i was especially invested in the second half. i just did not like june as much as i wanted to. i found her to be really selfish, and while she did grow, i just didnt feel like she adequately apologized for or acknowledged the pain she caused. some of the references and phrases that were very modern weren’t my favorite either, because i think they will put too much of a timestamp on the book and make less accessible to readers years in the future.

i enjoyed this, but it was def my least fav corsairs novel. i just didnt connect w sentorr as much as i did w the other mmcs. the premise of this book is super fun tho!

this was a sweet story but throughout it i got soooo emotional and sad. 

this was quick and super sweet! i loved cat learning how to trust again, and tarekh was so perfect for her!!!

i just was not vibing w the characters after 3 chapters 

this was a really fun read! i liked the development of the relationship, and i think this sets up the series well. 

some middle grade books transcend their intended audience and are enjoyable for everyone. this one, however, i think would have been more enjoyable if i truly was a middle grade reader. it was still pretty good though. s/o to knackering molly. 

i think i would have had a better reading experience if i went with the physical book or ebook instead of the audio :/ but the writing was good. hard to read, but i think its supposed to be

this was MUCH darker than i expected from ruby dixon, but it wasn’t bad.
