this was so funny and fun and ainar was such a sweetie

i was not expecting this to be friends to lovers, but i enjoyed it! i did expect a little bit more from it though bc i have heard such great things. i think i would have been more emotionally attached to it if it was longer

despite its premise, this was soooo sweet. i did want the epilogue to be longer tho. 

i just really wasnt enjoying this. the nickname “sunshine” annoyed me and felt forced. i didnt like when alice grabbed his tail, and it frustrated me that kaspar kept lying to her

had to read for school but then i got sick so i wasnt able to go to the class where we discussed it so i didnt finish it. 

i just didnt like adiron as much as i wanted to, and i also didnt love the conflict. 

i totally understand why this is a fan favorite. its a great read.

i am having a really hard time rn and ruby dixon books are legit the only things i can get myself to read. but this was so funny and delightful. thanks ruby
