What a wild frickin ride this was! Didn’t love the multi-POV as much in this book as it felt like there was a lot going on, especially with the addition of Aefe, and I struggled to keep the plot lines organized in my mind. I realllllly enjoyed how Aefe’s story connects eventually, but I was very confused until around 70% of the way through it. It definitely felt like more of a bridge book and while I still really enjoyed it, I found myself more excited to find out what’s coming during a lot of it. I JUST WANT A HAPPY ENDING WITH A GARDEN IN THE FOREST FOR THEM
Honestly just speechless.. start to finish, this book was an intense ride and i loved it. I was constantly wondering how it would ever get resolved, and I was on my toes til the very end. The amount of pain and suffering that was endured throughout this series is just mind blowing - this book was definitely not an easy or light read by any means, the absolute devastation caused by genocide is so clear and painful, and it brings an important weight to the series.
I loved Aefe and Max’s growth and character development, especially in this last book. The grief they both battled with was overwhelming, and I love the way that these books addressed grief and love and how differently these things can be felt. Tisaanah remained so steadfast in her beliefs and was this rock for everyone, she is SO badass and I just love her. And sweet, sweet Sammerin.. he is such a genuinely wonderful friend to his people and sacrifices so much for the ones he loves. Ohh I’m gonna miss these characters so so much!

Just finished my third reread of this book (this time in audiobook format!) and I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet? I love this book so so much, it is truly just so incredible and heartbreaking and wonderful. I love seeing Feyre really step into her power and title, and her love and trust with Rhys and the Inner Circle is just so magical. Keepin this one short n sweet cause like, just read it

This book is filled with longing in so many forms, and the slow burn of desire between Jean and Muirin is beautifully written. I was hoping for a bit more magic and fantasy elements, and didn’t get much of that until the very end, but it was still an enjoyable read nonetheless! I loved the mystery of Muirin and Tobias, and the slow unraveling of what is going on behind closed doors.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would recommend for anyone who is looking for a moody, sapphic love story based in folklore!

This book was so fun and lighthearted but also SO well written with some really unexpected twists! Y’all know I love a grumpy x sunshine trope and Evie and The Villain were a perfect pair. The dual POV was so great and helped really round out the character development too!
The “office” dynamics were really well done and added such a funny element to things, I loved the way those more real life aspects of a job (like HR) were brought into this fantasy setting, it was just perfect. 10/10 would recommend this read for sure!!

People give this book a lot of hate but I honestly enjoy it so much! It’s such a perfect little bridge book chronicling the recovery of the inner circle after the war, and I just LOVE the Christmas vibes! Is there groundbreaking plot development? Definitely not. But is there a snowball fight and drunk decorating? Yep, and I’m here for it
I really enjoyed this book! Very fast-paced with lots of twists and turns, it left me excited to see where the story goes. It felt quite young, and not necessarily in a bad way but I am definitely hoping to see some growth and character development, especially for Evangeline.

Ohh Megan Bannen did it again! I absolutely LOVE her writing style, it is so fun and lighthearted while still managing to tackle some intense topics and emotions. She makes the relationships feel so real and never shies away from the messy bits.
In this sequel to the events of The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy, we are reintroduced to Twyla and Frank: two Tanrian marshals with a friendship for the ages. I absolutely loved their partnership and the way they so clearly love and respect the other - they just had the best banter! Plus, I loved getting to spend some more time with Duckers!
The friends to lovers was really well done, as much as I dislike a miscommunication trope, it was very fitting for the situation, and I thought that the familial struggles that Twyla was having fit into it all very well. I wish there was a bit more focus on the investigation and mystery behind it, as I felt this piece of things was a bit rushed at the end with much more focus on the relationship. However, I still really enjoyed how things were resolved, and I had a GREAT time reading this!

A solid 3.5 stars! I felt like this book portrayed obsession and desire and malice very well, and I was definitely intrigued by the story and characters. I wish it had gone a bit deeper into Laura and Carmilla’s stories and obsessions, as I felt like a lot happened very quickly and I was left feeling a bit disappointed.
