Ohhh my heart! This book was just so beautiful - the love and grief and hope and joy, all woven together into the most amazing story

THIS FRIGGIN BOOK. 5 stars is not enough. The characters? The story? The slow burn and enemies to lovers done PERFECTLY? I just am obsessed.

Violet is an absolute badass and feels to me like a perfect blend of Aelin and Poppy (while still being unique and amazing) and Xaden? We love a man who can own up to his shit and still be an absolute dreamboat while he does it. Absolutely loved the different friendships that blossomed throughout the book as well, and Tairn and Andarna were just the greatest. Cannot say enough good things honestly, you just need to read this book.

Absolutely loved this take on witches and the women’s suffragist movement. Such powerful themes of feminine power, sisterhood, collective trauma and the healing that comes along with it. One of those books that left me feeling inspired and just in awe of the unbreakable will of women

Okay I understand the Emily Henry hype now. I laughed, I cried, I absolutely could not put it down. I love the tropes and how she just leaned right into them, and having that feeling of something familiar and predictable but also somehow surprising? Just so good.

Honestly obsessed with how completely infatuated Cas is with Poppy, he is just perfect. I loved getting his perspective of FBAA and while I was definitely hoping for more new developments in the storyline, as someone who reads a book and immediately forgets all of the details, this was a great way to remember some forgotten pieces of the story.

This book had some very cozy, almost “spirited away” vibes to it and I loved it. I honestly wish it was a little bit longer, I feel like there was a lot packed into this book and I would have loved more time to get connected to the characters, but overall it was still so great. It had such beautiful messages of love and family that definitely made me cry

Devoured in one evening and I am completely obsessed. Lilith resonated with me so much, and Vale’s complete acceptance of her entire, passionate self was just so good. I just want MORE and while I know it’s currently a standalone, I so badly want to see their story intersect with Oraya and Raihn’s.

Such an unexpectedly beautiful book. I loved getting to know all of the characters, and slowly unraveling the mystery right to the very end. I also love to imagine that all octopus have an internal dialogue like Marcellus, just so sassy but caring.

Ooof this one got me.. Devastating in the best way though. I saw a lot of myself in Harriet which was both wonderful and heartbreaking as the story evolved. I just love the way Emily Henry makes you feel so intensely, it’s incredible. 10/10 recommend but be prepared for tears!
