Honestly I couldn’t get into this one. Nick is a literal man child who shirks all his responsibilities and is using his “best friend” under the guise of “not hurting her”. The smutty parts also aren’t very good unless you’re looking for a chuckle.

Wow. I love thrillers and this one had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Our protagonist is a senior girl named Pipa who is stubborn and on the hunt for justice. She is a very strong protagonist, albeit a bit foolish at times. Safe Ravi is an amazing balance to her recklessness.
This was a case that just when you think you have it figured out something throws a twist on the path. It had me on the edge of my seat.
Keep in mind it is a YA novel and there’s a lot that’s not plausible when solving the case but if you have an imagination and can suspend your disbelief then it’s definitely worth it.
I do recommend the audio book. It has a full cast and they did an amazing job.

This was honestly really painful to read. There were a lot of fluff parts that were so repetitive. They continue to have unprotected sex even though they didn’t check for STDs and she is definitely not on birth control. I was honestly surprised when she wasn’t pregnant again by the end of the book because of all the unprotected sex.

It was very clear that the author didn’t research pregnancy with triplets because she was able to go through it so easily and carried to term and her body was beautiful and back in shape almost immediately.

There were also things I just didn’t make sense when it came to caring for the babies. Like they woke them up from a nap to give them a bath and then put them right back to bed. Like I get that that makes sense for the plot but that’s not how you handle babies.

The smut was okay but there was sooooo much fluff that made it so boring. I was so excited about the age gap because I love age gaps but this one didn’t hit the spot for me.

I tried really hard to get into this book and enjoy this book because I liked the concept. But there was a lot of fluff and honestly the main character had no real drive other than Sam. The grief was all right but it didn’t really make me feel it in my chest, you know?
