Original Review:
My first adult fantasy novel. Fairly middle of the road.
Reread Review:
I like this book better upon rereading. There's a lot of little hints and clues scattered throughout which I just breezed over during my initial read, but which were a lot more interesting in my reread. I liked all of the characters better upon rereading, especially Feyre, Lucien, Nesta, and Rhysand.

Incredibly compelling narrative with really powerful descriptions of Jennette's eating disorder.
Charlie was a super interesting main character and Vince was really compelling in the mystery that surrounded him. The plot twist, that Remy had been dead the whole time, and Vince was actually his shadow, Red, was incredible, I didn't see it coming even though it was right in front of my face the whole time.
My absolute favorite romcom-in-novel-format! It's so honest about the experience of being a Woman in Stem while still maintaining an optimistic outlook. Bee is an amazing protagonist - even when she's being oblivious, she's still lovable. Levi is the perfect love interest - all of his flaws are derived from his refusal to love anyone but Bee. The fact that he loved her for years but was never able to voice his feelings was so heartbreaking. The dramatic moments are so much fun - I especially loved the drama of whether or not Levi was trying to drive her away at the beginning of the novel. Overall, this book was just 10/10 for me!
Vivid characters and a never-dull plot! The setting (women in science) was very comforting to me.
Super interesting work of speculative fiction. The relationship between memory and trauma is explored in a really unique way.
So cute! Also so vividly YA it almost reads like fanfiction, not that I mind that. Mina is very relatable to High School me. Emmitt is a gift, not just because he was inspired by Tom Holland, but because he calls Mina "Love".
The premise is phenomenal and the execution does it justice. This book is romantic, exciting, and most importantly fun. Gabe and Chani are both delightful characters and the right-person/wrong-time set up gives the reporter/movie star premise some grounding.
I wasn't a fan of the pacing. The first 20% was way too slow. Then the middle section from the auction night to the airport scenes was phenomenal. But the wedding felt out of place in the overall structure of the story, and the last 20% of the book felt rushed, with plot threads that had whole pages dedicated to them in the first section being given only a sentence to resolve them.
Aaron was the best love interest. Lina was just there.
