wooooow this was a pleasant unsettling little surprise of a book!

alexa play daylight by taylor swift as loud as you can

i don’t know what to say about this book that hasn’t already been said in numerous other reviews. it’s dark, twisted, disturbing, hilarious and remarkably hard to not devour in one sitting. our main character irina takes the male gaze and flips it on its head using and abusing those who dare cross her path. she is horrible, cruel, manipulative, psychopathic and i’m not gonna lie to you…i’m obsessed with her. she is THE DEFINITION of an unlikable and an unreliable main character and yet i couldn’t get enough of her. her delusions were as horrible as the were comical. i could sit here and go on and on about this book through many different lens, but i won’t. i did love this book and i do understand why others didn’t. if you were a fan of a certain hunger or tampa i would HIGHLY recommend this one, it is one giant trigger warning though so please please please proceed with caution.

I don't believe in the glorification of murder. I do believe in the empowerment of women.

godddd this was GOOD!

It was so charming and cute, but also gave me the spooky Halloween vibes I’m craving. Definitely a slow burn, but once it picks up it PICKS up. The LGBTQIA+ representation warmed my heart. I cannot wait to see what happens next with these QUEER WITCHES
