I’d never actually read this and it was a terrific read. Perfect time of year!

The characterization in this book was phenomenal. Plot unfolded in a way I didn’t expect. Riveting and so worth reading.

This graphic novel provided a very straight forward explanation of the plight of refugees following the onset of Syrian civil war. I learned a lot from it. I don’t think it’s aimed at teenagers necessarily but it I think it’d be a good starting point for younger audiences learning about the conflict.

Short autobiographical graphic novel about border crossing from Nogales to Phoenix in the 1990s. Interesting to see one man's journey through Tucson in decades previous. Artwork is super cool!

Just not for me. Dropped in mid plot and the characters are hard to distinguish from one another. Maybe I am not as patient a reader as I used to be. The art is beautiful, I must say.

Really cool graphic novel about the friendship between Nica Rothschild and Thelonious Monk. The narrative is a bit non linear but it works fine. Artwork and layouts are stunning. Totally enjoyed this one.

Really terrific webcomic collection about a post apocalyptic society where men have died out. Obvious comparisons to Y: The the Last Man but the two concepts could not be more different in execution. Woman World is less an overarching story and more an emotive character study. It’s also surprisingly funny.

Listened as an audiobook. Very interesting glimpse into Steve Martin's life.
