My son *loved* this book. When Katie got to the The Olive Orchard he got so excited because it was a painting his teacher had talked about in class. I was pleasantly surprised to see this is a series. We'll definitely be checking out a few other Katie books from the library.

One heck of a book. It felt a bit like a Möbius strip, where threads of plot turned in on themselves in ways I wasn’t anticipating. Allegorical without being preachy. Just a really cool read.

Twists upon twists! I liked this volume more than the first!

This was actually very interesting to read so soon after Childhood’s End. There some similarities. I don’t have a very strong understanding of physics so some of the science in this book was tough for me but overall I was fascinated.

Hunger Games _in space!_

I was not feeling this at all.

I did not realize the subject matter of this book when I checked it out from the library. I'm just going through older Newbery books and this was on the list. I would definitely preview it before reading to youngsters (It is about the death of a grandparent). Everything is handled very gently and the illustrations are beautiful.

Glad I gave this comic another chance after a disastrous third volume. This was terrific. The art is just phenomenal.
