Pretty similar to the first book, I'm not blown away by any of the characters and I'm still leery on how this small bit of plot can stretch out for three books.
Not my favorite compared to her other trilogies, the build up doesn't have me interested enough to think it can last two more books. I'll still read them, I just don't feel as absorbed into the story.
I really enjoyed it, but I kept expecting to get sucked in like the movie, and that didn't happen. Both followed most of the same plot, I just didn't feel as much emotion from the book.
Beautiful! So cute and funny, I'll be buying this for everyone.
Just as good as book 2, the comics are simple, but relatable and hilarious
I bought this as a Christmas present, and of course I had to read it first. It is adorable and hilarious and so clever, I think she will love it!
The entire book felt very familiar, even though I'm sure I never read it before. I was familiar with the tale of the Swan Princess, but I really enjoyed how in depth this was. There were definitely some suprises near the end that I didn't see coming.
A classic, I can re-read this every year and it's still just as great as when I was a kid.
I read this for the "A Book With A Green Spine" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I feel it was more of a 2.5 than a 3, it was ok but I wasn't in love with it. I ended up with way more questions than answers. Maybe if I read more of the series I would like it more, but it didn't make me desperate to pick them up.
I read this book for the "A Book That Makes You Laugh Out Loud" part of my 2018 reading challenge. Not quite as exciting as some of the others, but I still loved it. I got emotional when Angus got hurt, and I'm still pushing for her to be with Dave next book. It's about time.
