I read this book for the "A Book About A Current World Issue" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I really enjoyed it, it was extremely educational as I knew nothing about her culture or her country. I'm glad she persevered and is continuing to fight for the right to education.

I read this book for the "A Book Written Before 1920" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I enjoyed it, it was much like the musical but also provided a lot more back story. It made it much more "real" and less fantasy.

I read this book for the "A Book That Was Once Banned" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I thought I had read this before, but it turns out I never had. I knew the gist of it, the Big Brother Is Watching part, but none of the details felt familiar at all. Overall I didn't enjoy it and I didn't like the ending, but it was an interesting concept.

I read this book for the "A Book That Has Won A Pulitzer Prize Any Year" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I really enjoyed it, it was simple yet gripping, and I was sucked right in to the man's trials.

I read this book for the "A Mystery Novel" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I didn't like it. I was bored in the beginning, intruiged in the middle, and just annoyed at the end. I didn't like the characters, especially Nick. The ending was just ridiculous and I have no respect for any of them.

I read this book for the "a book recommended by a librarian" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I found it weird, it was very violent and not at all what I expected. It was interesting having this other take on Peter Pan, but it wasn't my favorite.

I read this book for the "A Book By Agatha Christie" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I enjoyed it and was definitely puzzled by the mystery, but it was lighter and shorter than I expected. I would have liked if it were a bit deeper and less fluffy.

I read this book for the "A Foreign Book Translated Into English" part of my 2018 reading challenge. It was ok, but I found Pippi a bit annoying. I know being headstrong and quirky is her charm, it just didn't do it for me.

Love the characters and the stroy, can't wait to read the next book!
