This book actually gave me a headache. The characters have only been dating a month, and they are so on-again off-again I have whiplash. I find Eva so stupid it was actually making me angry. This book may have a little more plot outside of the bedroom than the last, but they're both being ridiculous.

It was a very different viewpoint from what I'm used to for that period. I found some events and conversations felt forced and didn't flow with the story, but overall I enjoyed it.

I picked this book up on sale and it was quite enjoyable. I liked the inclusion of magic and the details of the Salem witch trials, which I knew little about. One thing that bothered me was instead of just assuming they spoke with a Boston accent, some words were spelled out to emphasize it, and I didn't like that. Overall quite good though.

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. I found it slow starting off, and I felt like it could have ended a few times with how often the timeline switched back and forth. Near the end though it got pretty exciting and the twist at the end was well done.

I quite enjoyed it, the plot wasn't anything surprising, I could pretty much see where it was going the whole way through but it was still well written and I want the next book.

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. Excellent story, just different enough from others to stand out and yet still be a classic romance. Faolan is very well written; tall, dark, and overwhelming. Enjoyed this a lot!

Not what I expected at all. Followed a fairy tale that I thought I was unfamiliar with, however aspects of it kept ringing bells somehow. It was alright, easy to read in one sitting.

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. I expected to really like this book, and was disappointed. The plot had a lot of promise, but I found the writing was shallow and disjointed. I couldn't get into the flow of the story, it felt too rushed and the characters felt forced and never grew on me.

It was good, but it felt more like the second book in the series rather than the first, I felt it was vague enough with the characters backstories that it needed more introduction.

Pretty stereotypical, no surprises but it was fun to read.
