I devoured this book; it was just as good as all of the others. It’s been so long since I read the Clockwork series that I forgot who some people were, but everything still made sense and came together in the end. Most of the relationships are heartbreaking, yet I’m really looking forward to the rest of this trilogy. And to learn what happened to Matthew. The Clockwork series was my favorite and I loved this continuation of it, Cassandra Clare really sucks you into her characters and world building in a way that makes you physically miss them when you’re done.

It's been a long time since I read Soulless, so this was a great jump back into it and I enjoyed the artwork.

This seemed to be more like an illustrated poem than a children’s story. There isn’t anything in the way of plot, it’s just some repeated phrases that are supposed to lull a child to sleep. The artwork is very bold and graphic; I don’t think it paired well with the soothing language. It was alright, but not something I’ll be picking up for the children I know.

I received this book from Goodreads First Reads in exchange for an honest review here and on my blog Samwise Reviews, and I was really impressed. I have not read the rest of the series but I felt this did great as a standalone. The book started with a lot of excitement and then it built up towards the finale very well. Kate seems like a really well put together character and I look forward to picking up the previous books in this series to learn more of her back story. Also, being set among the Amish community was a refreshing change of pace from the other mysteries and thrillers I have read lately.

I know reviews are mixed online, but I loved this story. It may not have delved deep into racism like a lot of people expected, but I still thought it was a fantastic way to shine a light on kindness and being a helper and being true to yourself. I think it’s great to tell children to laugh and love and ask a ton of questions. The images were also adorable and full of snot and laughter.

This book was perfect. It was clever and funny and original, and I really loved it. It reminds me a bit of The Book With No Pictures in how the silliness is perfect for children. I'll definitely be picking this up for gifts.

I read this thanks to the Big Library Read, and I thought it was a great pick. It was funny and interesting and educational, perfect to sit down with for an afternoon.

I've owned this book for years and have read it a few times, it's always a treat. It was neat having a different perspective of being a "lady" and not fitting in.
