I am so in love with this book I am hesitant to start something else. I loved The Hunger Games, but found this to be almost better. Between the characters and the world building it was really well done, and even though the ending was a bit rushed and very "wait, what's happening" it explains a lot about him and their future.

I love Trevor Noah, and this book did not let me down. It was a very honest and educational tale of his childhood in South Africa, what it was like growing up, and how apartheid affecting everything. Easily one of the best biographies I've read, and I look forward to his next one.

I loved this almost as I loved The Starless Sea. I loved the characters and their journeys, and desire more than anything to find a Door. I thought it was really well done and really well put together, with just the right amount of mystery. I wish it had been longer.

I really enjoyed this book, the plot is a bit similar to some other YA Fantasy novels, but the affinities were a neat twist and the ending was exciting and left me waiting impatiently for book 2.

I found this book to be really strange. It kept flipping perspectives from different family members and timelines and I found it hard to follow. I think if it had said who was speaking and if it had followed a more linear timeline it would have been better. I don't understand the point behind it, why we had to get each person's view of different events, and even at the end I didn't feel there was any sort of conclusion.

I know this book was supposed to be funny, but I found it too annoying and inaccurate to enjoy.

An adorable book, I love all of his and this is one of the best.

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. Very exciting read, I finished it in one day. Much scarier than I expected, definitely not a before-bed-time book.

Very much like Supernatural in the way that God and the Devil hang out in a bar. The story started off slow because of the jumping between characters and times, but it got easier to read and really sucked you in the farther you got. Very interesting and original plot, I enjoyed it.

Started off really slow, and the whole thing felt messy and unrealistic. The ending was a let down, I thought Faith was better than that.
