I finished reading it in a panic last night. It wasn't my first time reading it, but might as well have been. Fantastic, and heartbreaking.

So good, so familiar, and so easy to re-read over and over again.

I love Keladry's story almost as much as Alanna's, the trials to become a knight are fascinating and Pierce's characters are always the most interesting.

This book was a perfect accompaniment to the others, and set up for the final book beautifully. I don't want the next book to be the last. Even though this isn't the first time I've read the series, I never want it to be over.

Just as good as the first book, the pace was never slow and the characters are all fantastic.

I don't remember crying the first time I read this book, but I sure bawled at the end the second time. I enjoyed this book much more than the first two in the series, particularily her strength and memories of her past lives.

I've read many stories about Troy, leading up to the fall of the city, but this is the first I've ever read that's set afterwards and I thought it was fascinating. To read of the survivors and their travels, and starting a new city was very interesting and I thought it was very well done. A bit slow to read, but I didn't have any trouble finishing the story in 2 days.

I found this book quite slow, and not much exciting happened. It was just interesting enough that I was able to read it in a few days, but it read more like a history book than a novel. It was neat that it it covered the time after Alexander, not during like most books.

I haven't read The Odyssey, but it was very interesting to hear Penelope's side of it

I got this book from my Secret Santa this year, never heard of the title before, and it was Amazing. From the cover I wasn't sure if it would be hokey or fantastic, and it was fantastic. It was so fast paced and sucked me in so fast that I finished it in less than a day. It took a chapter or two to figure out who the characters were, but it was a crazy ride right until the end.
