I read this for the "A Hardcover" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I have mixed feelings about this book. I read it almost in a single day, so it was definitely gripping enough to keep me focused, but I'm not sure I was really into the plot or the characters. The ending also felt a bit loose and unsatisfying.
I read this for the "Reuse a Prompt From A Past Year = A Book Published in 2019" Part of my 2020 reading challenge. I loved it, I thought it was beautiful and graceful and elegant just like her. Angel cards and crystals aren't my thing personally, but she covered them perfectly without being preachy and made them approachable. I enjoyed how she covered the stress of her career and the struggle of relationships while still being respectful. It was a very open minded and relaxing read.
I read this for the "Author Whose Last Name Starts With The Same Initial As Yours" part of my 2020 reading challenge. It was good, but I didn't find it as "laugh out loud" funny as the author's other series.
I liked the flow of this one a bit more than the first book, but it still wasn't as laugh-out-loud as Georgia's books are.
I don't often enjoy short stories, they're either not long enough to have much story, or they end too soon after they start getting good. These were an exception, all were really interesting and well chosen. Some were a bit funny, some were a bit scary, all were worth reading.
For some reason I wasn't aware this was a book of short stories when I checked it out, so that was a bit of a surprise. They were good, but almost all of them I've read before in various forms.
I read this for the "Title Beginning With C" part of my 2020 reading challenge. This was adorable and funny and well illustrated, and packed full of Porgs.
I read this for the "Set in the Future" part of my 2020 reading challenge, as some of the stories fit. I don't generally like short stories, but these were surprising and really good. A fantastic mix of authors and themes that I overall quite enjoyed.
I really enjoyed this collection, all the stories were quite different and most I had never read before.
I wasn't quite as into this one as her other volumes, but I still enjoyed how powerful all of her poetry is.
