I read this for the "Character Who Wears Glasses" part of my 2020 reading challenge. It was simple and cute, I enjoyed the win at the end.
I read this for the "Title Beginning With A" part of my 2020 reading challenge. This is one I want to own, it was super simple yet witty and cute and hilarious. "All your friends are delicious"
I read this for the "Title Beginning With B" part of my 2020 reading challenge. It was very different for something Seuss, but it was still a good story. The images reminded me of Whoville.
I read this for the "A Spy Novel" part of my 2020 reading challenge. This was a really cute story, I enjoyed how hard he tried and that he didn't give up.
The Day the World Exploded: The Earthshaking Catastrophe at Krakatoa - children's picture book adaption
Jason Chin, Simon Winchester, Dwight Jon Zimmerman
I read this for the "Written by a Blogger or Journalist" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I enjoyed it as much as I did his full Krakatoa story, there was a lot of science that was well explained and broken down, great pictures, and a lot of fun facts I didn't know before.
I read this for the "Recommend to you by Amazon" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I was in love by page 19. I liked the characters and the entire idea of the doors and the Harbor and I loved all the little literary references through out and I loved the magic and whimsy of it all. I don't normally like short stories but I couldn't get enough of the ones mixed into this book.
I read this for the "A Book Featuring Royalty" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I love it, it's such a classic and timeless story that brings me right back to my childhood. I enjoy the strong female character standing up for herself.
I read this for the "Set In Space" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I went in thinking it wasn't going to by my style or my thing, and I was pleasantly surprised. I loved Gideon's character and her original insults. I liked how the plot was never predictable. There were still a few things that felt unresolved at the end, but I will definitely be reading the next book.
I read this for the "A Character That Frustrates You" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I don't feel like Llama Llama actually learned how to share, he was still just looking out for himself.
I read this for the "A Book With Illustrations" part of my 2020 reading challenge. This was beautifully done, both the story and the artwork. It was a much darker take on the classic/Disney Snow White tale and I loved it. Not for kids.
