I read this for the "A Stephen King Novel" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I found the artwork and the train's face to be a bit disconcerting, but the story was classic.

I still don't love this art style, but the story was really cute and clever.

I read this for the "A Book In A Series" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I didn't like this as much as the first book. Again I didn't feel attached to the characters and didn't feel it went very deep, and the whole thing just kind of skimmed along.

I read this for the "A Book With Recipes Inside" Part of my 2020 reading challenge. I loved it! Misha & Vicki are adorable and hilarious and their kids are just the same. I liked their approach to getting Maison & West to be more adventurous, and the trials they've had in the kitchen.

I read this for the "Book With The Letter W In The Title" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I loved it, Loki was just as delightful as Percy and Monty in her other series. The "bad guy" was a little predictable and I didn't love the last chapter and how things wrapped up, but otherwise it was fantastic and I actually laughed out loud in sections.

I read this for the "Borrowed From A Friend" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I loved it, it's adorable and witty and touching. A person's a person no matter how small.

I read this for the "A Book With Romance" part of my 2020 reading challenge. Some parts felt a bit weak and juvenile, otherwise I really enjoyed the characters and the story line. I like the idea of the different casts of demons and the hierarchy, and how they're so animal based. I'm really looking forward to book 3 to see what other trials Lei faces.

I read this for the "Borrowed From A Friend" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I wasn't a fan. I watched the Netflix series first and didn't love that either. It was well acted and well filmed, I just wasn't interested in the plot at all. I found the book very much the same, it was kind of slow and plodding.

I read this for the "Set In Space" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I enjoyed the science and the vivid illustrations, it was a cute introduction to our planet.

I read this for the "Published When You Were 20" part of my 2020 reading challenge. It was simple and cute, just like the rest of the series.
