I read this for the "A Book With Romance" part of my 2020 reading challenge. Some parts felt a bit weak and juvenile, otherwise I really enjoyed the characters and the story line. I like the idea of the different casts of demons and the hierarchy, and how they're so animal based. I'm really looking forward to book 3 to see what other trials Lei faces.
