Picked this up because it was on sale, and it turned out to be phenominal. It was beautiful and tragic and perfect. I really liked the maid's perspective of Sleeping Beauty, and the twist of the plague.

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. Amazing! Very descriptive, and depressing. It's terrible that we still make people live like that.

Absolutely loved it. One of my favorites out of all of her works.

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. Hilarious. In the intro Colin said that writing was a lot of work, but he made it seem easy, his stories are amazing. "A Study in Ha Ha" and "Twas Not Right Before Christmas" were by far my favorites, I recommend this book to everyone.

I read this for the "A Book Already In Your Bookshelf" part of my 2018 reading challenge. A fantastic retelling of Beauty and the Beast with Persian roots. I love the detail in his trials and all that he learns along the way.

This series is fantastic, I've read 4 in 2 days and can't put them down.

I really tried to like this, but I didn't. The timeline was all over the place, there were way too many characters and none of them stood out to me, I couldn't tell who I'd already read about and who was new. And the last 100 pages being solely of the war was just too much. Nothing seemed to fit, though I did like Mr. Eiffel.

Fantastic speech and very whimsical layout.

I read this for the "Written in the 1970's" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I had a newer edition of this book as a kid and it's always been one of my favorites.
