A little better than the first one, I don't think the dumbed-down teen speak is improving, I think I'm just getting used to it. Only reading because I'm interested in seeing where the plot goes, I'm not invested in any characters.

The dumbed-down teen speak still gets to me, and her string of boyfriends. I know she's young, but she's ridiculous.

I don't normally like Space Adventures, but this was interesting even if I had trouble telling some of the characters apart.

Not quite as good as the first book, but very close. It was still very humorous and adventurous and I really enjoyed it.

This was delightful, I loved the story and the adventure and the characters and the romance and the humor and I was shipping Henry and Percy hard. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

I found this to be a little bit predictable, but it was overall enjoyable and I liked the characters.

I read this for the "An Ugly Cover" part of my 2019 reading challenge. I really enjoyed the writing style of the first chapter of this book, but after that the plot lost me. I didn't like the psychological detours and the ending was unsatisfying.

I read this for the "An Author Who Uses Initials" part of my 2019 reading challenge. Most of the book was a solid 3/5, I found the characters a little hard to keep track of and the new terms and language took some getting used to. I love Geology but also had a hard time believing this world, and I was surprised I didn't like it as much as I expected to. The last 1/4 of the book was a 3.5, I liked the surprises and how the story came together.

I read this for the "A Humorous Novel" part of my 2019 reading challenge. This book was a fantastic surprise, I loved the bits of humor, the steamy scenes, and her hilarious revelation at the end. I expected a fairly generic, romantic chick lit and this was a treat.

I read this for the "A Book With A Plant on the Cover" part of my 2019 reading challenge. I almost really liked it. I found the first part pretty slow and dreary, but the second part really picked up speed. I liked how intense the investigation was, but I did not like the resolution or the ending and I don't like Toby as a character at all.
