A beautiful finale to the series, I still miss the characters deeply and this brought a little bit of closure.

I really enjoyed the viking twist to the story, but it could have been longer with more focus on the characters and their lifestyle.

A great classic.

I was wrong about who would be the Demdji, so that was a nice surprise. Fairly predictable plot overall, but the desert and magic twists are great and I look forward to the next book.

I read the whole thing in a Saturday afternoon, it was very different from what I normally read and I enjoyed that it wasn't predictable at all. I liked how normal and real the characters were, and the emotions and hardships they experienced.

I feel sorry for anyone who has chosen Lady Midnight as their first Cassandra Clare novel. Yes the plot makes sense and you might find the characters relatable and likeable, but you are missing out on EVERYTHING. There is so much history, so much back story, so much Emotion, and SO MANY FEELS! I feel like it's given me a heart attack, my heart hurts, it's hard to breathe, and I'm nauseous. And it was worth every second. It was such an exciting ride, every moment of pain when Tess and Jem were mentioned, the happiness for Clary and Jace, I can't even cope right now.

I have mixed feelings on this book. I almost really liked it, but some parts were a struggle and overall it felt really forced. I think it was too much like a classic Sherlock Holmes story and wasn't original enough. I'd probably like the characters more after a second story with them.

This book was really weird. The mixture of fairy tales had potential, but overall it felt chaotic and messy.

Had potential, but got a bit confusing with the name swapping. The plot was pretty predictable and she seemed to give up on her goals too easily.

I mostly enjoyed this book, I liked the story idea and how each section focused on one of the siblings. I did not like the ending and lack of completion.
