it’s actually a 3.5 star book but an ALMOST perfect ending to the series (some ppl should have stayed alive
Actually 4.5 but this year I’m rounding up and not down bc positivity. What a banger book. I feel like if I reread it it could become a genuine 5-star bc like i was struggling for the first half of this but like basically mwah
bruh his vision. his MIND!! this is so fucking cool. i loved seeing the storyboards for the scenes that were cut and like the little bits of dialogue that didn’t make it to the final movie. i kinda wanna reread while rewatching it? also i kinda wish there was more behind the scenes stuff (like “we cut this scene bc...”) but idk how interesting or relevant that would be? Anyway mwah this slaps
3.5, maybe even 3.6. Elias was irrelevant and the first half was boring, but the last 100 pages kinda saved it. I think it’s just the middle book syndrome, which is weird bc book 2 didn’t suffer from that
i think this is actually probably really good, but i’m discovering that esoteric, lyrical literary fiction where it’s less plot more vibes isn’t for me, mostly bc i can’t figure out wtf is going on? so this is less a rating of the book and more of my experience reading it ig
actually 2.5. i fucking love aliens, but i fucking hate physics
