4.5! yep still slaps. i completely forgot what happens in book 2 bc everything i thought happened there happened here (except for That Thing)

it took me a while to get into it and i wasn’t v impressed w like the first 3/4ths but the ending made me legitimately tear up so!! i’ll read the sequel, ig i’ll just have to hope the writing style gets better

Cute story but extremely surface-level and basic. Everything felt like it needed to be fleshed out more. It was a good start - just not a great finished book.
