I definitely think it's better than the first book but like pretty marginally (i know i need to adjust my rating for the other one) because on one hand we don't have silly goofy over-the-top fanfic tropes but on the other why was there a straight-up VILLAIN with a GUN that was so silly sorry it was silly and goofy anyway it was cute. bee is just like me fr fr because im also annoying and think nobody will stick around #slay.
