i love their relationship so much and i adore their relationship and communication, no miscommunication trope here! it is so pure and fun and fluffy (aside for a couple scenes w/ bitty's dad) and it is so heartwarming. i would recommend this to fans of gay graphic novels!
fast-paced

this book gave a very nice perspective from a Nigerian woman on feminism and it was very inspiring, but it felt like it lacked a bit of intersectionality in relation to gay/LGBTQIA+ women, trans women, disabled women, and other people effected by misogyny (AFAB nonbinary people, trans men, etc). it gave good insight in some directions, but was very two dimensional in relation to gender; just cis men and cis women.

overall, i think that it was very well written, everything said above is just a bit of what could have been included to make it better, but i think that it is an important thing to read for anyone looking to read feminist literature.

the way that hockey life was portrayed in this book was very accurate (coming from a member of an intense hockey family). the whole thing was adorable and i read it in one sitting, i'll probably read the second one in the same sitting.the buildup to
the kiss at the end was perfect, i loveeeee a good slowburn
. also it's gay and it slaps! gay hockey romances have a form hold on me and this was perfect!!

SO GOOD EVERYONE PLS READ!! I CANT WAIT TO READ THE SEQUEL!!!

Fast paced book that got me out of a huge reading slump. Definitely recommend, but there are a lot of potential triggers so stay safe friends <3
