A great overview of all the different jobs dogs do. Now I can go pet all of them, yes?
I wasn't really into it until about halfway through the book. For me, the killer was that the book was written in present tense. I did get into it and enjoy it quite a lot, but is it listworthy? I'm not sure.
So good.
So good. I want Amy to be my friend so we can laugh forever.
I liked this one a lot. Time travel and science. A dystopia, true, but one that you could probably get away with giving to younger readers.
I really liked this one. Chirp loves the outdoors and her family, but things seem to be unraveling a bit when her mother is diagnosed with MS. At times heartbreaking and heartwarming, this story will stay with me for a while.
In deference to the phrase "Every book it's reader," I will start by saying that I'm fairly confident I am not the reader for this book. I read it from Netgalley, so taking away galley issues, I am not a fan of books with exceedingly short chapters and improbably coincidences. However, if I think about other readers I know, this book could be very popular. I'll have to think about it more.
At first, when I was reading this book, I thought "I'm not meant to read adventure/survival stories. This kid is an idiot and I want to smack him!" It is a bit hard for me to have empathy for people who carry around a lot of anger, which probably made this book very good for me to read. And while I may have cheered when he was suitably punished for his behavior, I was still glad that he learned a lesson and was able to turn his life around. A good read.
