This book was so good! It was a little hard to keep track of all the sisters, but I loved the mystery and sisterhood present in the story.
I'm not familiar with Gibbs' previous work, so I went into this with no expectations. I greatly enjoyed this mystery set on the moon. I think it will go over well with kids and get them interested in space and science.
I enjoyed this story. Dragons and frost giants, oh my! A fun read with a board game connection.
I don't often run to J and say "OMG THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD" but I did with this one. An action/survival book I like! Hurrah! Dogs and female lead are added bonuses.
I don't quite know what to think of this one. Do I think kids will enjoy the potty humor? Absolutely. Can I picture some parents getting upset? Yep. It also uses the word "badasses" and that made me a little iffy too. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens!
A stunning, beautiful story of a girl growing up in the Darfur area. Amira's life is safe, surrounded by family until the Janjaweed arrive. This story has a place in every library.
I loved this book! Rye was a great protagonist, and I loved the complexity of the Luck Uglies and the Bog Noblins. A great read.
An informative overview of the different ways dogs help us out.
Another great entry in the Rules of Scoundrels series. It won't overtake Cross's book as my favorite, but I love Temple and I love the way he interacts with Mara.
