A historical fiction introduction to Henry David Thoreau. A good reminder of the joy of nature.

I loved this one, and I'm not even a huge lizard person. I just really enjoy good books about pioneering women, and this fits the bill. Procter is an inspiring figure, and who knows what she would have done if her life had not been cut short by cancer?

I like the rhyming scheme, but I'm not sure that I would use it in storytime or structure a program around it.

Loved it. I wonder how long I have to wait until the third one comes out! Hopefully not too long.

I love this series. Beautiful illustrations and great rhymes make for good storytime reading.

Super cute story about a little turtle that loves to pretend, and a class that gets in the spirit, and a teacher that doesn't mind getting into it either.

A great conclusion!

This one I liked a lot. A bit slow to start but wonderful to savor.
