Not my favorite work of hers, but it is interesting to see where she started and where she is now.

This one was hard for me to read. I think it's because it touched that part of myself that realizes I'm not strong enough to give my grandparents this kind of trip (ever) and annoyance at her father's family that they wouldn't change the plane ride to make it easier on them (which also reminded me of my own family in some ways.) It's beautifully illustrated and well told, but I was uncomfortable (which maybe means it's really good?)

As usual, I gulped this book down, despite my attempts to read it slowly. Riordan still has it. I love the yellow boat so much. And also Mallory Keen.

This one is pretty cute. I enjoyed reading Hale's memoir of her youthful friendships. They felt real. As an adult, you definitely want Shannon to do different things, but those are from an adult's perspective. I think lots of kids will relate. Love Pham's illustrations.

The cloudLibrary version of this book is weird, because it plays part 2 twice. Either way, the storyline was fine. I enjoyed it. I sometimes feel like Maisie Dobbs is a bit more free than she would have been at the time, with modern sensibilities. I mean, would she really have been that comfortable with homosexuality? I am unsure. Still, it's enjoyable.

Pretty good! Makes me think I need to read Zita the Spacegirl now.

So good. There's a lot going on, and I am really intrigued by it. I need more.

I like it, minus the Dagger Type section. It made me want to know more about Barbara Gordon.

Well, I liked it and the art but I am not the most savvy reader, so maybe I am wrong?
