Pardonable Lies by Jacqueline Winspear
3.0

The cloudLibrary version of this book is weird, because it plays part 2 twice. Either way, the storyline was fine. I enjoyed it. I sometimes feel like Maisie Dobbs is a bit more free than she would have been at the time, with modern sensibilities. I mean, would she really have been that comfortable with homosexuality? I am unsure. Still, it's enjoyable.
