Another excellent choice from Rundell, about a girl and her mother who retrain wolves to live in the wild. When the wolves attack the wrong man, Feo's mother is arrested and taken to St. Petersburg. Feo must rely on her wits and some new friends to save her mother and the wolves.
I've never heard of wolf wilding before, and I was a little disappointed to see that it's not really a thing, although other animals are sometimes wilded--let out of zoos I suppose. Still, I enjoyed this story about a girl with companions that she respects but also understands they aren't pets.

I liked this one quite a lot. I thought that the main trio of characters were well-rounded. I enjoyed the environmental aspect of the book, and the inclusion of Senate hearings.
This book is a great mystery, and also deals with some tough issues such as a parent with mental illness. I want to know more about Footer and her escapades.
Great writing, great characterization. I hope a lot of kids in my area read this book about a mixed-race girl with big dreams reacting to an almost all-white world. It takes place in 1969, but I could honestly see the same exact reactions happening today, 47 years later.
This is a fantastic mystery. A mysterious benefactor invites six children to visit her, with one of them gaining an incredible inheritance. However, she seems very suspicious and a little too fond of knives. Can Tabitha solve the mystery in time? I was genuinely surprised by some of the twists and turns (others were predictable), but I would hand this to any mystery lover, particularly of ones that feel British.
A look at a family divided by the Berlin Wall and their attempt to get back to each other.
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would, based on the cover. Leander and Polly are both enjoyable characters. I did have one moment that sort of threw me off, but I enjoyed the story more with that plot beat thrown in, so although I don't like how it came about, I've made my peace with it. If you enjoy stories about the American Civil War, or cross-dressing female soldiers, you'll like this one.
