Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes

This duology is so fucking good. And I have now grown to love the characters, plot and world.

I’m glad that this was my first introduction to Sanderson. And I look forward to reading the rest of his books.

I love this reimagining of The Princess Bride and I highly recommend it to people who love the movie. Part of me wishes there was another chapter so we could see more of the characters.

I know I’m going to finish this trilogy because I want to read all of the Star Trek books but if that wasn’t my goal I would drop this trilogy.

It’s not horrible I just wish someone else wrote it especially since the woman don’t come out right. I don’t know might re-read this when I decide to continue on with the trilogy in hopes that I change my opinion on it.

This was quite slow at times but in the end I did have a good time. I am disappointed though as I went into this thinking it was going to be a 5 star read.

This really reminded me of Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes if you’d like another book like this one.

I thought this was just going to be okay going in and was pleasantly surprised by how well written it was and how much it peaked my interest.

This wasn’t bad but this should have been longer and the ending left something to be desired.

DID NOT FINISH: 17%

Started cringing so much that I turned down the volume of the audiobook so that I basically couldn’t even listen to it. Then went and asked myself why I should even continue after I kept it like that for two chapters.
