A lengthy sequel to Crown of Feathers, it had some really good moments but at times I felt that the flow wasn't quite there.

I enjoyed the character's developments, especially Sev's and Elliot's.

I look forward to seeing how this all ends in the final installment.

I was granted an eARC from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Slow to start and then barreling straight into adventure, heartbreak and deception.

I adored Kingdom of Souls so much and it's sequel does not disappoint. Rich with it's history coupled with a plan eons in the making, it takes the reader further into the world that Arrah lives in and the past that has forged their present.

Prepare yourselves for twists and turns, epic battles and heart wrenching moments.

3.5/4 stars.

Dark, gritty and moving - this story of sibling loyalty and the realms we will traverse for those we love is hard hitting and fast paced.

There are a few nuances that I felt were missed with regards to some of the other connections and relationships throughout the story, I wanted a little more polish from them. But overall I enjoyed the world and it's grim undercurrent. I am drawn to the peculiar and the macabre so this certainly resonated with me.

If you're not into dark fantasy, then this will not be for you. However if you are, there will be plenty to make your skin crawl, and it will ensnare you with it's hooks and drag you deep into a world very much twisted from our own.

I cannot rave about this series enough.

Heartfelt, magical and full of adventure. I didn't want to put the book down, Tilly's story gripped me from the first book to this one and hasn't let me go.

If you're looking for a book dedicated to the dreams of all good book folk, then this series is for you.

A delightful and beautifully illustrated little book highlighting the importance of change.

It's illustrations help to tell the story of acceptance and change that will assist young readers in understanding that change is a factor in life but it isn't always a bad thing.

If you're looking for a book to help your child/children you care for, deal with worry, and want it from a biblical stand point, then this will be perfect for you.

I must admit I'd skimmed over the biblical part in the description on NetGalley, and was more looking for a good book on dealing with worry for young readers.

However it does have some good, quick advice on coping with worry. And is beautifully illustrated.

This is a fantastic book for young readers (and even us not so young readers!) to come up with self affirmation's.

Teaching young people to believe in themselves and to help boost others is so important. This wonderful book has helpful notes in the back for parents/guardians/teachers to read and incorporate ways of helping to boost young individuals self confidence and self belief. All tied in with wonderful illustrations.

Bracelets for Bina's Brothers takes the reader on a brightly colored journey through Raksha Bandhan, highlighting the importance of sibling love and care.

Not only is it a heartwarming story it also is useful in helping guardians to teach young readers about patterns, something that will then be helpful for them with regards to Maths later on in life. Be sure to check out the helpful maths ideas in the back of the book.

Wednesday Wilson's story is something that I wish I'd seen growing up as a mixed race child. She is smart, funny, imaginative and loyal.

I adored this book for showing young children of colour that they can be so much more than what they're expected to be. Introducing them to the idea of being a business owner and coming up with new innovations.

Bonus points for the LGBTQIA+ representation as well.

Lord do I love to hate these authors with a passion. They ensnare me, they enthrall me, they destroy me.

Prepare thyself for a journey of immense emotional proportions cadets, book two in this perilous escapade is just as adventure and angst ridden as book one and I am not ok.
