A captivating end to a enthralling series.
So hard to put this book down, adventure, intrigue, despair and love. Written only as Schwab can, where wit and melancholia weave a unique magic over the reader.
Can't recommend enough.

*THIS IS NOT YA* Ok had to get it in there, I know it's a misconception, one I didn't have but so many other's seem to have had and that's why this story shocked them.
A dark tale woven in misery, drenched in blood and topped with a raunchy little cherry. I loved every second of this and can't wait to delve into the sequel.

This journey gets better and better with each book. Dark, elegant and unstoppable.
There is nothing that Jay Kristoff does better than drawing you in, and then taking you on a rollercoaster ride, placed inside a labyrinth, that ends with your heart being torn from your chest and you thanking him for it.
I am, and yet not, ready for Darkdawn.

A fantastic sequel! Difficult to put down! I can't wait to see where Cassidy's journey takes us next!
4.5 stars.
A fantastic story, rich in Welsh folklore.
I loved the contrasting main characters, their strengths and weakness'. I love the way that Emily weaves love and despair together to create beautiful tapestries that draw the reader in and hold them captivated.
If you enjoyed this, read The Hearts We Sold, also by her, it is even better and is one of the stories that has stayed with me in recent years.

A quick read.
Story is fast paced, it felt like something was missing, I'm not sure what, as to why only 3 out of 5 stars. I feel like perhaps I wanted a little bit more to both main characters, so that I could really root for them. I love to fall in love with the characters in books, and I just didn't on this occasion. I liked them, but I felt that they were missing some dimension.
I adore books centred on the fae, so the idea behind the story was wonderful. I just felt I needed more from the characters.

Jurassic Park meets Horrible Histories meets The Hunger Games.
A messed up world, an unthinkable game, an unlikely bunch. I really enjoyed this story so much. If you're not into technical terms, historical events or indeed dinosaurs, then this won't be a story for you. I found some of the scenes involving a lot of dinosaur descriptions to be a little less interesting than the scenes involving character development/story progression. But that is just a personal preference. I wanted there to be a little more character dynamics, as to why it's not a full 5 star read for me, but still a fantastic story (prepare yourself for a cliffhanger) and I can't wait for the sequel.

A really cute graphic novel filled with fantastic representation and a fun quirky cast of characters. I really enjoyed this wholesome story.
2.5/3 stars.
Unfortunately, none of these stories really gripped me. They are all well written, I just didn't connect with most of them, they didn't draw me in or leave me on the edge of my seat.
I think the only one I truly enjoyed was Movin' On Up by Laura Morrison which I found to be quirky, witty and fun. I enjoyed the dynamic's between the characters and the underlying moral story.
