This was a little slow to start with, but it really picked up about a quarter of the way through, so stick it out, it is worth it!
A great mixture of horror, feminism and inclusivity.

I adored Furthermore and was so excited to read this, I'm so glad I wasn't disappointed!
A fantastic, raw, beautiful story with a main character I related to in more ways than one. I couldn't put it down.

This felt a little slow to start but I'm unsure if that was my mood or not.
The story is told from multiple perspectives, which can sometimes frustrate me a little bit. One persons perspective made their chapters a little dull for me, and I struggled at times to push through those to get to back to the characters I cared about.
But I adore the world and the history, I love the idea of riding giant phoenix's rather than the usual mythological beings. The twist at the end I had figured out about a quarter of the way through the book, but that didn't put a dampner on it.
I am looking forward to where the next book takes us.

A fantastic look at the human psyche during times of sheer panic.
I wasn't sure how I felt about the characters in the beginning but as the story unfolded, it really picked up and I couldn't put this down.

I remember reading this once when I was in school, many, many moons ago, and I had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed it.
My heart.
Jesus this book.
I mean.
Wow.
Come on.
Just.
Wow.
(Don't read in public spaces if you want to maintain a hard as nails rep)

I was sent an eARC of this through NetGalley for my honest feedback.
4.5 stars out of 5.
A delightful story of a young boy discovering more about his family history, spun together with whimsy and adventure.
Highly recommend for fans of stories such as Night At The Museum, Peter Pan or Jumanji.

What can I say?
This series has been nothing short of phenomenal from start to finish. I took my time reading them because my heart couldnt actually cope. But I adore these books so much, and I can't recommend them enough.
If you are a fan of sci-fi, badass characters, getting stabbed in the feels on multiple occasions and unique writing styles - then this series is for you!
