A quick and easy book to read.

I must admit that this is one of the few times I enjoyed the TV series to the book. As there aren't any persons of colour in the book at all, and no one is really focused on who Lady Whilstedown is, which are both aspects that made the show for me.

I'm also huge on consent so the last 60 pages of the book really irritated me.

A fantastic sequel that leaves you wanting more.

I loved diving back into the Pandava's world rich with history, mythology and fantastic pop culture references.

This witty and action packed second installment in the Aru Shah series was hard to put down and I can't wait to start the next book.

My heart was not prepared for this to hurt as much as it did.

Dark and twisted, these murder games will keep you on your toes but more than that they will question your loyalty from start to finish and break your heart.

I cannot wait for the sequel.

If you love action packed, magic filled books with morally grey characters and high stakes - then this book is for you.

A great mix of interconnected love stories. I enjoyed some characters stories more than others but overall I liked the way that each of the characters had a connection to someone within another part of the story. You could barely tell that they were written by different authors, it all blended seamlessly and was a joy to read.

This was an adorable graphic novel filled with delicious food, great music and a journey to self discovery.

If you're looking for a cute queer love story wrapped up in a food filled journey of growth then this is for you.

I adored the premise of this book, music and the astral world are two of my favourite things.

However I did struggle with the characters, I found very little to like about any of them sadly. I didn't care about them, and found them to mostly be irritating.

The story was beautifully written and all the aspects of the worlds, the food, the clothes ect were detailed and encompassing. I just wish that same depth had been applied to the characters.

A reimagined take on the old God's of Greek mythology.

Fast paced and filled with spicy moments perfect for anyone looking for a tobasco pepper level of smut to their stories.

It has certainly paved the way for many more future stories set in this intriguing political world of Greek Gods.

I enjoyed the magic system in this book but I felt the whole story was really rushed and should have perhaps been made into a duology so that the characters could develop and the story could have had more time to evolve.

I felt the characters needed more depth and more of a connection, it was all a little fleeting and weak.

I had really high hopes for this book and whilst it isn't a bad story, I just feel it needed to have more to it.
