I don’t know how she does it but while reading any of the author’s books, you get through all the millions feelings that makes a story worth of “All times favourites books “
Lance and Harper are no exception at all and for me, they go on the same place as Drive.
Their love story isn’t your normal sweet usual college romance, it goes beyond that.
Just like a rose, it has spikes and it’s not always beautiful because even though you know it can make you bleed, you still go for it, but it’s so worth it.
My favourite in the series and I’m looking forward to seeing more of them in the future.

Audiobook review
I love how the author combines layers of mystery with a romance story set in Chicago 1880. It’s a slow burn pace but so worth it. It made me think about the length some people are willing to go to become richer and how many secrets are not unveiled because others choose to see only what they want.
If you love a romantic suspense story this book is definitely for you.
As I usually listen at 2x or 2.5x speed , the narrator voice can change but I was fine with it.

A very slow burn romance with reliable characters and lovely story. I enjoyed it a lot and I’m looking forward to other books by the author.
I haven’t read the first two books in the series but I enjoyed this one a lot because I can’t say no a second chance romance.
I liked the characters and how interesting and like oil and water they were and I must admit that there were times when the author has done a great job by making us believe that this couple can’t work together for the future but I was surprised to see how well they actually complete each other.
It was my first book by the author but won’t be my last for sure

Damn those muffins ladies! I read this at work and I’m so hungry right now!!!! And not only for the muffins if not for the Viking!!! If you didn’t know, one of my weakness is a huge Viking and damn if Cage is not the perfect candidate for it. I need to check out your inspiration pics because hot damn it, he’s hot and perfect.

I enjoyed this lovely story a lot. The slow burn and pace were exactly what I needed and the writing style was very good. I was surprised that this is the debut novel by the author and I’m really looking forward to more stories by her.

The story felt like dragging a lot for me, they don’t interact much or at all for most of the book and there’s no chemistry felt like I was expecting.
Even if it’s my first book by the author I will read more because the writing it’s great and I’m looking forward to other stories.
