Weight Expectations
by M.E. Carter
For as much as I wanted to love this book, I just couldn’t pass over a lot of things going on.
I love Penny’s books and characters and I’m always looking forward to read about new characters.
Now, Rian was a great female character, overweight or not, she was awesome in many ways and I want her as my friend.
Carlos, on the other hand, it seemed too egotistical, he loves himself and is obsessed too much about his physics and persona as well as the appearance and to whom he’s spending his time in and out of bed.
The story felt like dragging a lot for me, they don’t interact much or at all for most of the book and there’s no chemistry felt like I was expecting.
Even if it’s my first book by the author I will read more because the writing it’s great and I’m looking forward to other stories.
