I’m not a big fan of fantasy or paranormal books but this book was very entertaining and enjoyable overall.
I liked the writing style, the characters and the story overall how it was presented with a few twists and turns that made me want to read more.
It was my first read by the author but I will have to look out for more books as I enjoyed it more than expected.

An interesting mystery story that I enjoyed reading. Because I love the Victorian era or anything related with historical London, this was an appealing story to read.
However, the writing style was good but it felt dragged a lot at times for no reason than giving a lot of descriptive scenes that maybe in my opinion weren’t that necessary and could have been ok without it. Otherwise, I enjoyed all the different characters and their lives stories even wearing a stigma for their times.

Fun and light reading.
I was looking forward to this book but it felt a bit hard for me to get into it in the first half of the book as the heroine was quite annoying and felt dragging a lot, but I rarely DNF a book and kept reading. I was glad that I didn’t gave up because the story became more interesting with every page til the end and had a lot of laugh out loud moments and funny situations.
A nice, funny and lovely summer read for everyone who enjoys the genre.

Lovely story and interesting characters. There’s a lot of steamy things happening in the book and the chemistry is feeling well over the pages

This book is definitely something else and not what you expect but a great story nevertheless .
Told in a point of view of a 6 years old little girl, we discover a lot of things happening and how she sees everything around her. Living with mental health illness around her and trying to understand what's happening is hard for an adult so imagine being a kid with big dreams and an imagination that knows no limits.
It might break your heart at times, there are some questions that we get the answers but also there are others that are left opened up for the reader to review them and that in my opinion is a great story overall and the author has done a great job of it.

A short Hot and steamy mmf or mfm.
Think about historical romance and taboo or forbidden story with a lot of hot moments between the characters in some unexpected situations.
I would’ve loved to read more about the relationship between the male characters and maybe a longer story overall but it’s a perfect read for an hour of enjoyment.

An interesting story for me as I don’t know much about Golden Gate and how the bride was built as I never been in the states.
I loved the heroine for her willingness to study something that she likes more and feeling that she can help more the people around her instead of becoming a nun as her very conservatives parents are requesting from her.
I didn’t liked that she didn’t stand for herself from the beginning and that she had to hide and involve her brothers as well, but I liked the family bound between them.
Overall was a great story and i’m Looking forward to other books by the author.


This is one of my favourite books of the year just because it pulls my heartstrings so hard that I needed to take a break at times and also shared some tears which for me it’s a huge thing as I rarely cried for books.
Valentine is a dark soul, dominant and possessive, he has no limits in doing whatever it takes to get his way no matter who is hurt in the process.
Nova is a sweet girl inside but a brave one outside.She’s going through a lot as a young woman but she’s scared to ask for help.
The family bound it’s so strong and I loved to read about this next generation in Archer’s Creek.
I need to read the next book like right away because that cliffhanger left me speechless.
If you like your stories full of angst and love, this book it’s definitely for you.

My first book by the author and i am always looking to read more thrillers.
Unfortunately, this book was a bit boring and very predictable for me. I really wanted to like the main characters but i just couldn't connect with them. The fact that she is old school and doesn't want to give up control it's understandable but that he was talking with his dead wife, i just think that he's having some mental health issues because it's ok to grieve and be hurt by the loss but he might need more help.
Overall was a good story but not what I'm looking for in a thriller.

While this book was a great insight into the American history and the writing was great especially in describing the beautiful landscape, the characters felt a bit strange for me with no connection at all. It was hard for a mother to keep her family unite and safe, but the ghosts talk and everything else wasn't for me, unfortunately.
I will still recommend this book for the writing and the original plot and story.
