My first read by the author and I am quite intrigued.
The story was good and I finished it in one sitting because I could relate with the heroine for what’s happening in her life with becoming a mother again and all the changes that takes place in a woman’s life.
There are things in life that you want to leave them in the past, want to block the memories but as always, the truth and the past will always catch up with you. An interesting story with a few twists and turns that I thought I knew where everything was going but apparently I was in for a surprise.
I’m not sure how I feel about the ending, probably I would’ve liked to read another one, but overall was a great story that I will recommend.

An interesting read about a woman who still mourns her late husband although it's been four years since he drowned rescuing someone else.
An holiday fling with no strings attached, a pact where it was only allowed to talk about their feelings in the moment and not their life outside the holiday resort , and the knowledge that it might be just once in a lifetime experience.
Of course fate has other plans and the two main characters are face to face in no time.
Not sure how I felt about this story, I liked the characters and interesting jobs, the fact that they are so dedicated to their families, the friendship between them is nice, the fact that they want to pursue their feelings towards each other and realised that the chemistry is still there it's an added point.
I didn't like the fact that they were keeping secrets from each other's, like the most important secrets that in my opinion should have been coming upfront from the beginning with it, even if it was scary or because of the previous bad experiences, as for her, same goes with her big unrevealed secret but I can understand her feelings and hesitation.
Overall was a good story and I will definitely read more books by the author.

What a gripping story!
Even if it's the first book that I've read by the author, I felt in love with the writing and characters.
The story is so gripping and heartbreaking at times, it's fast paced, has a lot of twists and turns that will keep you guessing with every page turned till the end, the chemistry and feelings can be felt so real between Imogen and Adrian. I must admit that I was surprised to read so much about their relationship and how they grow through all the events that will put their trust and attention into the cases they have to solve.
I liked that we get more points of view from different characters and that I couldn't guess who was the real killer until the end was the epitome of the story for me as that's the most important thing that I'm looking forward in a crime thriller.
I'll definitely recommend this story to my book friends and will check out the other books from the author.

The next book in the series is so much more than a simple older woman younger man trope.
I enjoyed all the feelings that this story brings while reading about loss, family and children, friendships and relationships, finding love and hope all over again. I think Forest and Penelope are a great match and their chemistry and intimate moments are an added bonus to their love story.
Life will always give you second chance at everything, it’s u to you to take the most of them.

An interesting read to say at least. I know nothing about art and painting but we all know or heard stories about artists that live in their own world and they are always moody and self absorbed, the fact that some of them have no inhibitions or have to use alcohol and other substances for their creativity to occur to the next news about their bodies found out of life and always the mystery around them.
The story is compelling and told only from the point of view of our heroine that has no name, I for one found it odd but interesting as well.
As a young artist who wants to make a break through the well known art society, we get to know a lot about how she struggles to become one, being unemployed and homeless, how her obsession with another woman artist grow so much to the point of living her life after said artist passed away.
A lot of new terms and interesting small things about art life to find in this book for which I was grateful to learn about.

A light and funny at times read, with a perfect description of wonderful Greece islands and the tasty Mediterranean food.
Taking a break from her actual life, the heroine goes on a trip where she hopes for a change, a twist in her life. She will have her wish come true as she will meet not only one but two men interested in a romantic relationship with her.
The writing was good, the characters reliable but what i didn't really like was the banter and some repetition of the same questions/dialogue from either the main characters or the secondary ones.
There's also the what if/ will they do this or will they do that questions that made me take a step back from the book because i just lost interest although i really wanted to love more this story.

It's my first read by the author and because I've seen her name around a lot through the social media i wanted to give it a try.
A beautiful romantic love story with two main characters very loveable and although it didn't seem to me that they grow too much throughout the book, they are characters that can be reliable and interesting in a way of being something different for the historical romance genre.
Trying to avoid her marriage of convenience, Penelope has a plan to escape but everything goes wrong and she finds herself spending time with the rector Huge. The connection between them was there, the banter was interesting but i didn't quite felt the sparks.
Overall was an enjoyable read that i will recommend to my historical romance book friends.

The first thing that comes to mind after reading this book is that i am still confused.
There are things happening that i can't really wrap my head around them honestly, they seem more unrealistic or very unbelievable.
Every one of us is curious at least about their neighbours especially if they are keeping to themselves a lot and sometimes that curiosity can lead to a disaster or a very unpleasant thing to happen.
The doctor is a sociopath, abusive and controlling husband, his wife is very unfriendly by Emily manage to get under her skin and is invited into their house. What happens next is the discovering of all sort of unimaginable things that will have your head spinning in approval or not, as i was saying earlier, some things are very unrealistic for me at least.

Overall was a good book and I'll be reading more from the author.

I love the author and when i had the chance to read an arc, of course, i didn't want to miss the opportunity.

One of my favourite tropes is second chance romance and this book has a lot to talk about a married couple and their second chance at love.
When you get married, you think you already know everything about the other person in your life, because you trust her and give your hopes and dreams to them. They know all your secrets as you should know all of theirs. But some people are very good at pretending and hiding things from you in plain sight.
When Betty is in danger, Thom is revealing his true identity and everything is changing in their life and relationship in a span of minutes.
I liked the banter even if Thom seemed withdrawn at times or to quiet when i wanted him to be more opened and talkative with her. The chemistry between them was there all the time and the fact that Thom could be who he really was and talked about it changed everything in better between them.
Never assume things without asking or having the answers first handed.
A fast-paced story with a second chance at love and some great hot sexy scenes.
Loved it and can't wait for more books by the author.

A quick, fast-paced at times read with a few twist and turns that were very predictable.
As a mother, i can relate to all the feelings that are described in the story.
I liked that we get both pov as it's interesting to know the story from both parts as to how each one sees everything that happens.
What i didn't like is the reference to the church that is a bit overused here and it makes me think that maybe this story is more Christian read than what it's presented (no judging here, just a thought), and the fact that is treated in the thriller category which in my opinion is not or has very few resemblances to it.
