Sometimes real love comes from the most unexpected place and the fact that it could come from hate it's always a good thing in my opinion as they already know what it's the worst thing that can happen.
Blinded by his hate for her father, Trevor doesn't realise that he's actually falling in love with Brooklyn.
Brooklyn has the life of every socialite person but she hates it, even if she does what is expected from her, she prefers to dance and dreams of one day accomplishing her dream. Her longtime fiance is not making it easy for her either, so when a stranger that gives her all of his attention comes along she'll take the opportunity.
The writing was good, the chemistry was felt within the pages and the characters have grown by the end of the story. I can't wait to read the second book about the secondary characters in this series as they seem so interesting and I'm sure we are in for a ride.

My first book by the author and quite a great story.
Although it can be read as a stand-alone I personally felt like I’m missing something because I haven’t read the first book in the series and I have some unanswered questions about some characters that apparently are more predominantly in the first one.
I enjoyed the writing, made me read it in one sitting, I enjoyed the characters and the interesting twists of the past and present were very clever done.

A very well written story and an even better story that we rarely read. Yes, there are many celebrities dramas behind the scenes and stories that we get to read but the real ones are so few that sometimes you even wander if it’s true and real anymore.
Loved the characters and I found it interesting that the author is a former member staff of a tv show it’s always a great thing to have everything from first hand storytelling.
Looking forward to more from this author.

An uncertain situation of health issues makes two sweethearts childhood friends to get together again and have an opportunity at a marriage of convenience. During this time, they get to know the new adults they become in their 30th years old and feelings and emotions and heartbreaking moments are shared all around.
It was a sweet story, I must admit I was surprised to read this one after reading another more darker story by the author but it left me with a great feeling of accomplishment.

It's my first read from the author and although I haven't read the first book in the series I didn't felt like missing anything because the author has given plenty clues and details about what happened in the past that I could see a bigger picture of the story.
I always loved policed procedural stories and this book didn't disappoint me at all.
The two different stories/cases are full of twists and turns , some were predictable some were very unexpected and that's what made me read the book in one sitting and I'll definitely recommend this book to any of my friends who are looking for a great read.
I'll looking forward to read more books by the author in the series because the main character is one of my favourites so far this year.

I was so looking forward to this next book in the series because the first one ended in a cliffhanger that left me mouth open and didn’t expect that.
This one was definitely even more suspenseful than the first but in a good way.
Eva shows again how smart and strong she is even if she had a terrible experience for a few years next to Dimitri, and the fact that she found Naz, totally opposite her previous relationship, she discovered how much she loves him and will not stop at anything to protect him, even if it means to get back in her nightmare.
A new character makes an interesting appearance and from here the story takes a turn that I didn’t see it coming. There are things happening that maybe people won’t agree with, there are twists and turns that are unpredictable but it all adds to a good story overall.
I loved this paragraph so much: “The strongest steel is forged by fire, and so are the strongest souls. Your light is so much more beautiful because of your darkness. Your heart is so much more open because it’s been hollowed out by knives. And though I surely would’ve loved the younger, more innocent you, I adore you even more because all your broken pieces sing to mine.”
The cliffhanger is definitely not what we expected and I cannot wait for the next book to see what the author has in store for us.

I must admit that I am still a bit uncertain regarding my feelings for this story.
It started off with a heartbreaking chapters and I felt sad for both Elle and Damien. I did read it in one sitting because the writing is good and the story was interesting enough to make me keep reading and finding what's happening next, what happened when everything started. Along with Ella, we found out that some truths are better kept secrets and I understand better why Damien refuses to talk about what happened and why is she blocking her memories.
There are things that I don't agree with like her time spent with Nathan but I think it was necessary for the whole story to add that present moment and angst and twists and turns that once again proved that nobody it's perfect and we all make mistakes and take decisions, not so good on the long run but good for us in the moment or so we think of it.
Both Nathan and Damien are interesting male characters, different in their own as a person and also in their beliefs and what's more important for them in life.
I'll be looking for more books by the author for sure.

One of my most anticipated books of this year it’s finally here.
It can be read as a stand-alone but you might want to read the first two books in the series because the couples from there are making an important part in this story, especially the women as we all know how hard it’s to be and work in a men’s world, to find an ally who you can trust or relate to.
Feisty and strong, hold nothing back , the heroine is the perfect match for Drake.
Their story it’s not all sunny and shine, it will touch a string to your heart because none of them had a good upbringing and we get to know more about it. Their relationship and chemistry can be felt throughout the pages, as well as the angst, the longing and the fear of giving away your heart and open up, fear of loosing the only thing that you don’t want to lose, your love.
The cliffhanger is probably one of the worst feeling because it stops when you less expect but I’m so looking forward to seeing how everything will unfold as I’m sure we’ll be in for a ride.

Being the first book that I've read by the author, I didn't knew what to expect and the fact that this story is part of a series worried me when I started reading but after a few chapters I just got so engrossed and realised that I don't necessarily need to read the previous books to enjoy this great story.
It was a very interesting story, maybe the first of this kind that i've read, well written, great characters and interesting dynamics between them, some funny moments made up for the drama and heartbreaking situations in which the victims are dragged.
It opened my interest to go back and read the other stories as I want to read more and know more about each character for sure.
Looking forward to more books in the series.

Another new to me author and first read for me.
A beautiful description of Spain in the 30's , Madrid and everything about the civil war, wealthy families and how they used to live their lives in that times.
I must admit that I was a bit confused or better said frustrated with the two different time traveling as the story is told once in the 1930 and then in present. There are so many different things happening today but overall I could see why the author chose to make this story like this. It's a more interesting and unique story, with characters that want to be a bit out of the box in their time and rebel against their family's rules.
There are some twists and turns that are adding to the story a few moments that will definitely remain with me for a while and also made me go back and research.
Overall was a good story with well written moments and interesting characters to say at least.
