Well , to my shame, it’s the first book that I’ve read by the author although I’ve heard great things about her stories before from my book friends.
Even if it’s the second book in the series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone.There are some secrets and questions that I had and apparently I will get the answer in the first book but that didn’t deter me from enjoying this book .
It’s a book filled with so many emotions and feelings, I enjoyed everything about it, the writing, the characters, the twists and turns, all the topics that maybe even in our times our society is still struggling with it.
I loved everything and looking forward to the next books in the series.

Over the years i’ve read more than 20 books by the author and of course I had to read this one as well.
As usual, the story is so engaging that you won’t want to put it down till you finish reading it. Yes, it’s old school and of course there are things happening that we don’t agree nowadays but bare in mind that it is a historical romance story and it does touch the time settings with everything that happened then.
I loved the writing as always, I loved the characters and moreover because they weren’t high ranking and their love story deserved the time and heartbreaking moments because no real love will go untouched by obstacles and heartbreaking past or situations.
I always recommend the author’s books to my friends.

This was definitely an interesting and unexpected story.
Going back to her early life, Susan is remembering her past and everything that she keeps locked down in her heart.
I've enjoyed this story, there are many things that I liked and was invested to know more about how people were living their lives in 1979. ( Jeez I wasn't even born then and maybe that's why it was more appealing to me)
It's a good written book, with a great main female character and a fast paced at times story, it kept me wanting more with every page as the events are unfold and there are a few twists and turns that honestly I didn't see them coming.
I didn't really enjoyed the ending, maybe because I wanted anything one or because it felt a bit rushed or short.
Overall it's a great book and I '' sure it could be a great screenplay if the chances arrive for the author , I for one will definitely see that movie.

Ok soooo second book that I've read from this author and so different from the first that I've read.
I love when I find new books and go blind because I haven't even read the blurb of this book and WOW what a surprise I had! (don't read this book while you have to prepare Christmas dinners or whatever because life was getting in my way more than I wanted otherwise I would've finish this book in one sitting for sure)
The writing style is so captivating that I just want to leave any other book aside and go back to read all of Ella's books, the characters are so reliable ,so different and she pairs them perfectly.
Jemma just got her dream job and moved from her hometown to the big city away from her single father and meeting a nice looking guy she got lost in his eyes and lies.I must admit that I wasn't sure what is going on in the first part of the book as I was confused because usually you kinda predict what will happen and when but this book is much more than that and keept me wanting more and more with each page.

Thomas is such a character with so many persons living in him,the monster,the loving father,the worshiping lover,the friend who cares for his owns,the man who has overcome so much and done so much in his life,the man who has made a life for himself and the ones that are loyal to him ,all with so many flows and bad and disfunctions but nevertheless a strong bond in an imperfect family that actually is perfect for them.
So many twists and turns and past facts revealed that made this book so perfect really.
It's heart breaking, twisted, perfect with imperfect characters that put love above anything else.

New to me author , new book that i won’t forget very soon for sure as I really didn’t see the end coming.
Going back and forward ,between the three women, we are taken in their present life and difficult past with each chapter. I must admit that I was a bit confused because I rarely read books with 3 different POV and the chapters told in their past or present.
You know you’ve read a great book when the author manages to leave you speechless with the twists and turns that you just couldn’t see, no matter what you’ve done, no matter how many scenarios you’ve made in your head and thought you’ve got it sorted out. This book is one of those for sure.
Overall, I enjoyed the story, great writing as well as good characters, different personalities and interesting minds to say at least, a bond and secrets hidden and revealed when less expected and the twists at the end is just priceless.

This book was definitely something else.
There are jobs in this world that aren’t for everyone as there are many people who loves to live their whole lives alone. They even get to a stage where the introverted person is even forgotten by the others around them.

The book was quite good overall, I was ok with the writing style, the characters changed a lot during the story, there are twists and turns that made me wanna read and finish it.

There are also things happening that I don’t agree with but I can see why the author has chosen this path and I really liked all the small references about how a single person interacts and live their lives.

It definitely makes you more aware of the ones around you whether you’re in the park, at work or shopping.
I’ll be reading more books by the author for sure in the future.

What a gripping story!

I loved everything in this book, from the writing style to the built up in anticipation for the next scenes , the characters that very well crafted and let’s be honest, which mother won’t do anything to find their daughter and save her marriage.

There are so many twists and turns that kept me wondering at every point what will really happen next, I thought I seen it coming but nope, nothing of that.

I enjoyed the slow burn and the steps that the investigation took to solve this mystery.

I did liked that the story was told in more POV as I could read both women voices while reading their respective chapters.

Overall was a very good slow burn book with everything that I love in my mystery books.

Ella definitely managed to leave me speechless with Forever and Never.

Another instalment from Magnolia Cove with Lars and Daphne as the main couple , it's the second book in the series but can be read as a stand-alone with no problem, although you might want to read Kiss and Break Up because some of the secondary characters are making appearances and it's something from their story.

As I was saying, I'm speechless because my favourite book by the author is Pretty Venom and I Never though I'll find another couple with so much to share, so many heartbreaking moments, so much angst and lust and overall love that will always win, no matter how many obstacles one has to overcome and go through so many hard times at an early point in their lives.

Yes, there are things that happens in the story that may not be for everyone but trust me that you have to read it because it really makes this story more than just a romance book, so much more.

“I need you forever, Daphne Morris. You were my forever girl, and this doesn’t change that.”

Now I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and I hope to see more beautiful moments with Lars and Daph because their love deserves everything.

The Hate Vow left me speechless and wanting so much more from this couple. The kiss plot was a perfect book for their love story, full with angst, amazing chemistry between them and so many twists and turns that I just couldn’t believe my eyes when reading it. I’m so happy that finally Eric realises that together they can be more strong and find that only Jane can fulfill the empty space in his life and heart. I can’t wait to read the next book and see what their adventures take us.

A new to me author, a story that is interesting at least, and a heroine that is so much relatable with some of my friends and their life choices.
I enjoyed the settings and descriptions, the fact that she’s blogging and the different side of stories and reality from what we read and what is happening in reality, the heroine arc grows towards the end of the book and that’s always something I’m looking forward in my readings .
Overall it’s a good story with some funny moments but also a bit of reality in it.
As it’s an easy and quick read, I’ll recommend it to my friends for their summer reading books.
