A very enjoyable read, with a turn that I'm not sure if I expected it but very good story overall.
Good writing style, a story about friendship and moments not so happy that happened thirty years ago while the girls were at the university and one of them dies or so it seems like because after an unexpected apparition in the background of some news, there's someone looking very similar to the missing friend. This makes the lost friendship to be reconnected and we take a journey of learning about trust, life and family. There are a few sensitive issues that were very well treated in my opinion and overall was quite a good story, unexpected but good.
Looking forward to more readings by the author.

I was looking forward to this book and today it's out for everyone who loves a great and beautiful sport love story with one of my favourite trope- enemies to lovers.
The banter in this book is amazing and the sparks of chemistry are just off the charts because the author did a great job in writing this couple that will keep you on the edge and you won't be able to put the book down til you finish the last page.
No spoilers from me because you really want to read this book. There are so many college sports books out but honestly only few will be this great.
Looking forward to the next books in the series as the secondary characters are deserving their stories as well.

I choose this book because I've heard a lot of great things about the first in the series and let's be honest, i was so intrigued by the cover and to see if the male character resemble the cover and i wasn't disappointed at all. Also, i haven't read the first book in the series but this one can very easily read as a stand-alone although the couple has a few big appearances in this book.

I haven't read many books told only in male pov and was so pleasantly surprised because i really enjoyed this book so much.
The writing is great as well and i couldn't stop reading til i found out how everything will wrap up.
I just love Eddie so much, he's quite the character, he was a bad boy and still is but have a heart bigger than anything else, and his determination to find his father and found out what happened with him has no limits. He's so caring and loving towards his family, as for his relationship with Carmen i have no words to say how much i love him for everything he did for and with her. He was willing to give her up because he knows he's a bad influence and not worthy of her and OMG the intimate moments between them are so hot and diverse and i was flushed so many times ,the chemistry and desire and all their feelings could be felt through the pages because the author has done such a great job in describing everything so well and beautiful.

There are a few twists and turns, moments that kept my heart race with n unexpected speed but also heartbreak and hopefully at the same time.

i will definitely recommend this book to all my friend and looking forward to more books by the author.

Arc received by the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I fell in love with the author books a few years ago and, even if lately i haven't read many historical romances, this book has her usual signature of great settings, great characters and a love story that will keep you wanting more and more.
I haven't read the other books in the series but it can easily be read as a stand-alone. I do want to go back as there are so many secondary characters that i want to read about their stories because they seem to be so intriguing as well as our Betsy and Jeremy.
Great writing, as usual, a heroine that is lovely and stubborn at the same time, a brooding hero that will get what he wants as always, great banter between them and very good moments between them.
Overall a great reading as usual from the author.

#NetGalley arc received for an honest review

There are good books and stories, there are great books and stories and there are amazing books and stories especially a debut one. Guess where this book fits? At least for me, this book was amazing, and the fact that is a debut it's even more alluring.
Grace is The Boss now, running her own business after her husband was imprisoned for murder, she will do everything to keep her and her son's life safe and away from all the cruelties and dangerous life situations of her ex-husband as he is back in their life. Nathan wants to go back to his previous life, to earn his wife back, her trust and his family.
Going back from the moments they met and how everything started in their life, Both Grace and Nathan are telling the story from their pov, and for me that is a big bonus because, although Nathan might be the villain in this story, it's a great thing to get into his head, with his thoughts and insecurities as well as his not so nice plans.
There are so many twists and turns in this story that will keep you glued throughout the pages to find out what happened and what will happen next. The last chapters and especially the ending as definitely not what i was expecting and i am so glad i choose to read this book.

Looking forward to more books from the author as I'm sure it's going to be a great ride with her next stories.

Just wow! I enjoyed this book so much!
It's a story about life, friendship, trust and decision that will change your life forever.
The first chapter is indeed so captivating that hold my attention in a second and i didn't stop until i finished the book. The entire time, my heart was beating so hard at times that i didn't know if to stop or keep reading, that much i love this story.
The author has a way with her words, the description makes you envision the surrounding like you are there, plus i want to visit in real life the places because they sound wonderful.
The story's so thrilling, gripping, full of twists and unexpected turns, i thought i have everything sorted out but no, i didn't and nor did i see it coming. That is what I call a masterpiece of story and book, all the rollercoaster of emotions and more.
One of my tops reads of the year for sure.

As the description says, this book is indeed one of unputdownable psychological thrillers and you won't want to finish this gripping story because it's a story that will stay with you for a while at least if not forever.
Charlotte is indeed the perfect mother and wife, with a wonderful husband and life. But one chance encounter turns her life upside down. She won't let anything and anyone see what really happens inside her house or heart and there are some twists and turns that I for one didn't expect. She hires someone to pretend to be her because she's almost her copy, lookalike twin and here's where the story becomes more interesting and I finished reading it in one sitting because I was so intrigued and just didn't want to finish the story.
As in real life, not everyone or everything that you see it's true or real, so maybe sometimes we should be more careful or pay more attention to those small things that surrounds us.
Looking forward to read more books by the author.

A fast-paced at times read, a teenager's experience towards first love feelings, a lot of mysteries and twists and turns that kept me reading in one sitting and a well-deserved ending.

I felt a bit disappointed because the story does show a lot of rich kids privilege and how they act around and towards the other people, which is a bit of a given lately anyway, but that's just me or my moods.
I was hoping that maybe Magda is a bit different as she is struggling with mental health and she is left on her own with this issue as she doesn't receive the support needed from the ones that should be next to her. I did like this part though, because the author managed to show how ignorant and maybe how much information we still need regarding mental health, especially for teenagers as they do go through so many phases where they need more support.
Overall I really enjoyed the book and I'll definitely look for other books by the author.

Can I firstly say how much I love this cover??
I enjoyed this book so much! I always loved The French Riviera and reading about a multicultural love story set in there it was the perfect read for me at the moment.
I love how down to earth is Sadie and how she choose to enjoy her time with Olivier, her hero rescue after an attempted rubber.
They both have a past, a heartbreaking one even, but they also choose to live their life and not be deterred by old habits or scandals.
Because he's the heir of famous fortune, his life doesn't come with only a glamorous life, expensive cars, jewellery and clothes or hotels or boats, it also comes with a legacy full of secrets and relatives that will do anything to keep them.
A well written story, great characters and interesting settings, a few suspenseful moments and twists as well as some great intimate moments and banter between Olivier and Sadie.

I'm so stunned by this author and her way of creating words and stories that are real, feelings from the most heartbreaking ones to the happiest you could ever feel, the characters are real, with a lot of baggage and complex even if for some people the age is a hard pass but wake up people, we don't leave in a word of sheltered anymore, young adults are having more troubles and problems than the settled adults with jobs and families.

There's always a story to be told for everyone and for me it's this author, i just love Tijan and her books, her writing, her way of making everything real and unhinged and all the emotions that one is looking in a great book.
