Even if it's a novella,it's the best for the season that is fast approaching and as I discovered the author last month through one of my favorite book of the year My one Despair, I wasn't disappointed at all and enjoyed this book more than I though.
What happens when you are friends from childhood with the man that still keeps you on the friend zone, with the man you first fall in love and stood by his side through everything he went through, from his one night stands and numerous failed relationships as even becoming a single father and you will get to be there for his daughter that soon becomes part of your life as your own family? You get tired because it comes to a time when you want more but he doesn't give you anything to hang on ,to carry on with this and decide to start a new life in another city, away from him and the business and friends that you've made all your life, hopping that your love for him will fade and at least you won't loose his friendship. It's all that Heath needs to get his head in place and realise that he wants Lee more that he though,he wants to spend his life with her and can't afford loosing her and has only a week to try to make her change her mind and make her see that he really wants more than her friendship,he wants all of her and he is the one for her.
Fast peace read with funny moments and real feeling of such a reliable characters as the author is doing again an amazing work. Hopefully will get to see more of them and their love story.

What an interesting story.
It's only the first book that I've read by the author and apparently I might have to go back and read the previous book in the series but I could get into it with no troubles at all so it can be read as a stand-alone.
Told in first person present, it's a story about Tansy and her struggling life in London, where she's trying to make ends and help her family as well. She had a relationship with Renzo but he thought they're not good together and , because her flat roommate is working at his company, she wants to know every step of Renzo and tries to get him back.
We are taken back and forward with moments from their relationship and traveling times, and everything she was feeling and thinking about what she thought she wanted at that time.
I liked how she grows by the end of the book, how everything settled for her and really enjoyed the secondary characters and their banter.
The book also touched a lot of contemporary topics like how perfect we have to be seen nowadays and what we feel and think isn't that important.
Thanks for the opportunity to read and review NetGalley and Bookuture publisher.

What a twisted story!!!
This amazing story will keep you glued to your seat from the first chapter to the last page for sure.
When two old friends have found the perfect house to rent for living together and closer to their jobs, they had to look for a roommate to share the house bills. But not everything what you see is what it's real.
Told in Megan’s and Chloe’s point of view, fast paced read and great writing style, the story is talking us back to Megan’s earlier years and we get a lot of inside from her life and her family.
Sammi is the new housemate and she's very enigmatic as , although she works with public figures, she doesn't exist in the social media, no account on any platform. That's when strange things stars to happen around the house and in their life, as well as it's very suspicious her affection towards Chloe.
You know you're reading a great book when the author takes you on a ride in one sitting reading a story that you think you got all covered and you think you know where everything goes and how everything will wrap up but trust me, you don't know anything at all and that's the author gift to us the readers.
I'll recommend this book to all my book friends and not only because it's one of the stories that everyone should read.

Even if it’s the first book that I’ve read by the author, this story has such an amazing message for all of us. Because we live in a contemporary world full of ignorance and false pretences, we value more the material things and we take all for granted, we easily forget that a second or just a moment can change our lives forever and also we forget to just Live, just find happiness in small things around us.
Such a heartbreaking story but also so fulfilling in a way that only few stories in life can aim that in our hearts and minds.
Both Emma and Nathan had a not so good or happy life but, after a chance encounter in the least expected way or place, they find each other and help to open up to new things and feelings in life because they just want to live a bit something that everyone should have throughout their lives.
Great writing, great characters and a heartbreaking story but so much more than only simple feelings.

What fun and a great read was this book!
A woman whose father is in prison for mob money, a mother that still wants to keep appearance even if their all assets are frozen, a grandmother that only forgets what she wants, a job in the morgue where a corpse is stolen and a crazy Russian stalker are a perfect mix for a fast-paced ,well written, great characters and mystery solved by our main heroine. There are a lot of twists and turns to keep you not wanting to stop reading until you find out what happened and how everything will wrap out.
Really enjoyable read with a mysteriously stolen corpse of a journalist female, some other crimes implicated and very similar to the one in this case as well as a very good sense of style as kat is always analysing everyone around her. Kat needs to solve the mystery by herself so she could keep her job and help keep appearance until her father situation resolves.
I liked the banter, the secondary characters are adding a great view and turns to the story and of course, there's a bit of romance that i always want to see in my books.
I'll recommend this book because it has everything you want from a great summer read.

Probab;y i had a bit of too many expectations from this book but i did finish it and by the end, i don't regret it.
A fun at times, sad as well at times and a lot of different emotions and feelings overall, this book talks about three women at different stages of their lives are coming together as friends by a chance encounter.
Each one has her life and things to overcome as well as her dreams to fulfil. I liked that they are supporting each other in this and are feeling comfortable enough to talk about it even if they aren't friends for a long time and don't know each other's secrets or life very well.
the book treats some very important issues like infertility and how much some couples are struggling to become parents.
There are some inaccuracies that unfortunately i couldn't pass over as well as some sketchy things that the characters are doing but at the end, i thought is normal because nobody is perfect and we read or see this in the news every day.
It's a fast read for sure, i would've wanted to read more about each character, to be developed more as of their growth after all the action that occurs in the story but this won't deter me to read another book from the author.

I only read a few chapters but I want more!
I would love to read more from this book as I got hooked from the first page.
It is a new to me author but I really enjoyed the writing style and I can see easily how i will probably read this book in one sitting as I don’t know where to go from here, there are so many possibilities for the story to take us on a rollercoaster of emotions for sure.
They say you do not know the person next to you in a lifetime even if you live together and this story might be another example how much we let ourselves trust the friends that come into our lives and we think we know everything about them but there are always small pieces of us that we won’t share with anyone no matter how much that person means to us. Looking forward to read more of this story

This was a great book with a lot of heartbreaking moments for sure but very intriguing at the same time.
Being a mother, I can only imagine what other woman feels when She loses her child, and the hardest part is that nobody can help her to bring at least an hypothesis about what exactly happened or how or why her daughter was abducted. Her faith that she’s still alive and maybe one day she’s come back to her, never dyed even if she made another family o er the years.
Great writing ,although I must admit that the chapters are pretty short, and maybe I wanted more if each character as the world building was going at a very fast speed but I enjoyed the fact that we get to know more of Stella or Isabella through each chapter and their point of view.
Will we get to know if Isabella is indeed her lost daughter? Read it to find out!!!

As I haven’t read the first books in the series I didn’t knew what to expect but it definitely could be read as a stand-alone.
I loved so many things in this book.
There are such great characters, all flawed and real with insecurities, troubled by their decisions in the past, heartbroken humans that will keep going into life because it’s what you do, you have to keep going but I also was happy to see that they wanted to tie all the lose ends left behind. I think we all need a break at some point in life when everything gets to overwhelming. I loved the connection between all the characters and the kids as well as they are a big part of the story as well.
I know that we live in a world where we supposed to accept us as we are and don’t judge and I’m happy that this book treats some of our fears and flows.
Overall it’s a perfect book to read it while relaxing and taking the sun on your skin and a cocktail on the table.
On a more personal note I have to say that I’m sorry for all the drama that people are causing online for some out of context sentences from this book and making something totally different of it.
